Considering this is $25 from cellar door, a bargain and excellent QPR. A local Swan Valley producer, who also make excellent Chenin & Grenache. Aged in French & American oak. There's a richness of ripe fruit - blueberries, mulberries, blackberries. Some eucalyptus notes too, with chocolate and hints of coconut. On the palate it's smooth with soft tannins, 5 years of bottle age and it's just sitting in the right window. 14% ABV, there's a touch of heat on the nose but nothing too over the top. Very tasty. 92
